Price to certain vegetables increased, to the others decreased lightly

Retailed price to cabbage and green onion increased last week, and the price to carrot decreased lightly. According to a survey made by the National federation AGROInform within the Program „Alliance for supporting agricultural market”, in the period13-17 February, average weekly price to cabbage on the domestic market increased with 3.6%, from 6.0 lei/kg to 6.2 lei/kg. Minimum weekly price to cabbage, of 5.2 lei/kg, was registered on the market of city Chisinau, and the maximum price – in Cahul (7.5 lei/kg). In the same period, the onion increased with 7.0%, to 4.1 lei/kg. Average weekly price to onion on domestic market in this period was registered in Cahul and Edinet (3.5 lei/kg), and the maximum -in Balti (5.7 lei/kg). At the same time, the price to carrot decreased lightly. The reduction of the price to carrot represented 2.2% and got to 7.3 lei/kg. The cheapest during last week the carrot was sold Balti at a price of 6.0 lei/kg. The maximum price, of 8.7 lei/kg, to carrot during the mentioned period was registered on the market of Causeni. According to survey, the prices to agricultural goods are higher abroad, the survey presenting the prices in Iasi, Odessa and Saint-Petersburg.
