The fuel prices reached new highs. For the next three days, the National Agency for Energy Regulation set the price ceiling for gasoline “95” at 32.09 lei/liter, up 0.16 lei on today. The price of diesel fuel will be by 0.20 lei higher and will be 28.50 lei/liter, IPN reports.
According to the Agency, the Platts quotations of oil products increased perceptibly as a result of the EU’s decision to stop importing Russian oil. On June 2, they rose to a record high even if the Brent crude oil declined slightly.
For comparison, a liter of gasoline “95” at the beginning of last September cost 20.23 lei, while a liter of diesel fuel –16.42 lei.
