Presidential Cup will disturb traffic circulation in the capital’s centre for several hours today

The fourth edition of the Presidential Cup in Moldova will take place today, June 17, in Chisinau, as part of the International Cyclist Competition and will disturb traffic circulation in the capital’s centre.
Ion Roscovan, inspector at the Security Service of Transport Circulation, administrative surveillance and public relations of the Traffic Police in Chisinau, told Info-Prim Neo, that traffic circulation will be interrupted on bd. Stefan cel Mare, in the perimeter comprised between Banulescu-Bodoni and Ismail street from 10.00 a.m. to 15.00 p.m.
The competition will begin in the National Square “Piata Marii Adunari” (PMAN) at 11:00 a.m.
It will be organised in two races, composed of 8 cycles each, on the distance comprised between PMAN and Ismail street. The total length of the distance is 24 km. The participants in the first race will be young people aged 15-16, while those in the second race will be aged 17-18.
The competitions will be attended by 170 young sportsmen in Moldova, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Armenia and Bulgaria. The previous edition had 160 young cyclists from Armenia, Belarus, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Moldova.
