Andrei Neguta and Maxim Lebedinski, advisers to President Igor Dodon, in a news conference on March 7 will present details about the migration amnesty of Moldovans on the territory of Russia, IPN reports, quoting the presidential administration.
In a press briefing on March 1, President Igor Dodon said a list of 17,500 people whose bans on entering Russia are being lifted will be made public by last weekend, but this wasn’t done.
The migration amnesty applies to persons who were banned from entering Russia based on Article 26 of the federal law No. 114, points 4 and 8, which is persons who have two or more administrative penalties during the last three years and those who didn’t leave the Russian Federation within 30 days of the expiration of the period of stay during the previous stay.
