President Voronin sacks his special mission envoy

Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin has fired his special mission envoy Valeriu Balaban, who has been also responsible for coordinating foreign assistance, Info-Prim Neo reports. The presidential press service announces the decree has been signed as Valeriu Balaban passes to another place of work. From December 2003 and till January 2007, Valeriu Balaban was the general prosecutor. On January 15, 2007, he was appointed as a presidential advisor , being awarded the Ordiner "Faith to Motherland".
