President Timofti promulgates package of laws assumed by Government

The President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti promulgated the package of seven laws for which the Government assumed responsibility on September 26, 2016. The decree to promulgate the seven laws was signed on October 4, IPN reports.

The promulgated package contains the following laws:

1. Law No. 232 of October 3, 2016 concerning banking remedying and resolution,
2. Law No. 233 of October 3, 2016 to amend and supplement a number of legal acts,
3. Law No.  234 of October 3, 2016 concerning the Common Central Securities Depository,
4. Law No. 235 of October 3, 2016 concerning the issuing of state bonds for the Ministry of Finance to fulfill its financial obligations deriving from the state guarantees No. 807 of November 17, 2014 and No. 101 of April 1, 2015,
5. Law No. 236 of October 3, 2016 to amend and supplement the 2016  state budget law No. 154 of July 1, 2016,
6. Law No. 237 of October 3, 2016 to amend and supplement the 2016  state social insurance budget law No. 156 of July 1, 2016,
7. Law No. 238 of October 3, 2016 to amend and supplement the 2016 mandatory health insurance funds law No. 157 of July 1, 2016.
