A Mayor’s Forum will take place at the end of this week, organized under the auspices of the President’s Office. The recently elected mayors who are interested in exploring the opportunities associated with the European integration are invited to take part, IPN reports.
“Dear elected mayors, the development of our localities over the next four years depends on you. The people offered you trust and support in the hope that you will work to build villages and towns in which we will like to live and of which we will be proud. I want to discuss how we can do these things together. I invite you and wait for you at the Mayors’ Forum that will be held on December 9 to discuss and lay the foundations of cooperation beneficial for all the citizens,” said President Maia Sandu.
She noted that the central and local public authorities aim to create strong communities, to improve the living conditions at home and to turn Moldova into a European county.
