The President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov will pay an official visit to Chisinau on July 24-25, at the invitation of President Nicolae Timofti, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the presidential press service, the Turkmen official will arrive at the Chisinau International Airport at 09.20 on July 24. An official welcoming ceremony will be staged there. At 09.45, Nicolae Timofti and his Turkmen counterpart will have a bilateral meeting. The journalists and cameramen accredited by the Presidential Office will be able to film and take photos at 10.00.
At 10.05, the official delegations of Moldova and Turkmenistan will have consultations in extended format, while at 10.50 there will be signed bilateral agreements. At 11.00, Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov and Nicolae Timofti will make statements for the press.
The Turkmen head of state will also have meetings with Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and Head of Parliament Igor Corman. While in Moldova, Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov will lay flowers at the monument to ruler Stephan the Great and Holy and will visit the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History in Chisinau.
