The president of Save Bessarabia Union Valeriu Munteanu through his Facebook page informed that he was diagnosed with COVID – 19, IPN reports.
He said he went to have a test for COVID-19 after he had fever and headaches and this was positive. “My wife and children have had no symptoms of infection with the novel coronavirus. During at least two weeks, I will self-isolate at home, until we are sure the virus went away and I cannot infect anyone,” wrote Valeriu Munteanu.
The politician noted that he now feels fine and called on the citizens to acknowledge the existence of COVID-19 and that it is very dangerous to many categories of people. “Protect yourself as long as you can and help this way our healthcare system that is under enormous pressure in this period,” wrote the president of Save Bessarabia Union.
