President of Moldova to pay a visit to Brussels

Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti will make a working visit to Brussels on April 26 and 27 to meet with a number of European officials, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the presidential press service, the head of state will have meetings with the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Durão Barroso, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, and Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule. Nicolae Timofti will also meet with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in Belgium. The visit to Brussels is the first visit paid by Nicolae Timofti abroad since his investiture.
