The President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko was awarded the Order of the Republic of Moldova. President Nicolae Timfoti signed a decree to this effect, IPN reports.
The state award was conferred in gratitude for the special merits in developing and strengthening the relations of friendship, understanding and cooperation in different areas between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova and for significant contribution to providing important support to our country in difficult economic conditions.
