President Igor Dodon will be paying a working visit to Italy during November 4-6, 2017. While in Italy, he will have meetings with his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella, Pope Francisc, representatives of the Italian business circles and with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora, IPN reports.
According to the presidential press service, the visit was discussed in a meeting of President Dodon and Italy’s Ambassador to Moldova Valeria Biagiotti.
In the meeting, the officials discussed possibilities of strengthening the bilateral relations between Moldova and Italy. Igor Dodon noted that Moldova has big expectations of Italy as the Chair of the OSCE in 2018.
