President Igor Dodon proposed a legislative initiative that provides for the institution of family capital to improve the living standards of families with children, IPN reports.
The family capital on the birth of the first child is proposed to be set at 1.5 average official salaries for the previous year, of the second child – at 2 average salaries, while of the third and next children – at three salaries. The family will benefit from the allowance when the child turns three.
Igor Dodon requested Parliament to include the given initiative in the agenda of the plenary sittings as a matter of urgency.
