President Igor Dodon during May 28-29 is paying a working visit to the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan that is hosting the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, IPN reports.
The agenda of the visit includes bilateral meetings with the leaders of a number of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. Igor Dodon noted the Republic of Moldova obtained the statues of observer at the Union in May 2018.
On the eve of the visit to Kazakhstan, President Dodon had a working meeting with Russia’s Ambassador in Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov, where the two conferred on the bilateral relations and the political situation in Moldova. They also discussed aspects of Igor Dodon’s visit to Nur-Sultan.
The President announced that after his visit to Kazakhstan, he will make a short visit to Ufa, the capital city of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
