President Igor Dodon in the second half of March will pay a visit to Moscow, where the investment potential and possibilities of establishing partnerships in the interests of both of the sides will be examined and long-term cooperation agreements will be signed, IPN reports.

In a posting on Facebook, Igor Dodon says the final meeting on the creation of the President’s Economic Council examined the invitation to organize a Moldovan-Russian business forum made by the Russian Business Union “Delovaya Rossia”.

The given Union brings together entrepreneurs from 77 regions of the Russian Federation, 30 committees and 86 specialized divisions that work in different sectors of the Russian economy, such as auto industry, light industry, financial services, information technology and many others. The Head of State said the most important enterprises operating in different sectors in Russia expressed readiness and interest in taking part in such a forum.

“We thus decided to make a visit to Moscow in the second half of March. Besides representatives of the Economic Council, the delegation will also include interested Moldovan businessmen,” wrote the President.

Igor Dodon also wrote that the country’s economic development program will be presented at end-March. This will be consulted with the business community and will be approved by the Economic Council.
