President convokes new composition of Supreme Security Council

President Igor Dodon signed a decree to constitute the Supreme Security Council of the Republic of Moldova and called a meeting of the new body for June 11, IPN reports.

The Council includes several new members, such as Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grechanyi, Prime Minister Maia Sandu, Minister of the Interior and Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Năstase, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vasilii Șova, Minister of Defense Pavel Voicu and Minister of Justice Stanislav Pavlosvchi.

“In order to ensure the national security of the Republic of Moldova and to urgently address the pressing problems faced by our country, I decided to convoke the Supreme Security Council for June 11, 9am,” President Igor Dodon posted on Facebook.
