Premier to visit Italy

Prime Minister Vlad Filat will pay an official visit to Italy on November 17 and 18, at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The delegation that will accompany the Premier will consist of Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman, and Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sergiu Sainciuc.
Vlad Filat said the program of the visit includes discussions on the bilateral commercial-economic cooperation and the social protection of Moldovans working in Italy.
The Premier will visit Rome and Verona. He is to sign a cooperation agreement with the administration of Verona. Vlad Filat will also have a meeting with representatives of the Diaspora.
According to unofficial reports, more than 120,000 Moldovans are working currently in Italy. Sixteen polling places will be established in Italy for the November 28 legislative elections.
