Meetings with the ambassador of the United States and the ambassadors of the European Union working in Chisinau will be organized monthly, on the initiative of Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, IPN reports. According to a communiqué of the Government, the meetings are aimed at improving the dialogue and cooperation with the U.S. and the EU member states and European institutions.
In a meeting on November 4, the officials discussed the implementation of reforms in Moldova, which are designed to develop the infrastructure, to improve the living standards and to meet the European standards.
There were also discussed Moldova’s priorities in the period before and after the Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit and the results of the recent meeting of Iurie Leanca and the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk.
