The turnover between Chisinau and Beijing has increased, China being the third largest trading partner of the Republic of Moldova. The importance of continuously fostering the economic and trade relations between Moldova and China was discussed at a meeting of Prime Minister Dorin Recean and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Moldova Yan Wenbin, IPN reports.
The interlocutors conferred on the prospects of realizing the Chinese investment potential in Moldova, with emphasis on electronics and agriculture. The implementation of bilateral projects and ways of advancing the Moldovan-Chinese cooperation relations were also discussed during the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting included more topics of common interest, such as the acceleration of green energy transition, development of new technology and cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
