Prime Minister Vlad Filat said he was anytime ready to meet with the prosecutors who want to obtain from him information about the raider attacks on several Moldovan banking institutions, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I already spoke with the prosecutor general and told him what I knew,” said Vlad Filat. The journalists asked him about this after deputy anticorruption prosecutor Viorel Morari told a news conference the same day that the investigation goes slowly because the victims did not make statements and the Premier, who made public these cases, could not be questioned. Vlad Filat said in this connection that he does not believe he must tell the prosecutors that the courts of law took a number of illegal decisions in the cases concerning the appropriation of shares in banks as there are enough materials about this. “If somebody wants to discuss with me, they should only submit an application, as required by law. Things are evident. I don’t know if I have to tell them this,” the Premier said in a press briefing. Last summer, Prime Minister Vlad Filat announced that four banks in Moldova were subject to raider attacks.
