Prime Minister Dorin Recean suggested the current deputy director of the State Tax Service Victoria Belous for the position of minister of finance, IPN reports.
“I proposed Mrs. Victoria Belous for the position of minister of finance. Victoria Belous has served as the deputy head of the State Tax Service and showed professionalism and integrity in the management of fiscal policies,” stated Premier Recean.
Dorin Recean said he is confident that Victoria Belous’ experience and dedication will contribute to the efforts made by the Ministry of Finance to ensure financial stability and economic growth.
Last week, the Prime Minister announced that Petru Rotaru will leave the post of minister of finance as he was proposed for the position of deputy governor of the National Bank of Moldova. A draft decision to this effect was already registered and is to be considered by Parliament.
