Prime Minister Iurie Leanca gathered together the ministers for the first meeting after the investiture of the Government. In its opening, the Premier announced that the meeting will take place in an informal manner so as to agree the work program for the immediate future, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the executive.
“I count on efficient communication with all the ministries. Any problem that will appear will be debated so as to show that we can make a good team,” stated Iurie Leanca.
He asked the ministers to formulate proposals as regards the priorities for the immediate future, saying making progress in the dialogue with the EU is major objective as Moldova should present itself exemplarity at the Vilnius Summit, while the people should feel the positive effects of reforms.
The Leanca Government received a vote of confidence on May 30. The next day the Cabinet was sworn in. The first informal meeting of the ministers was held on June 3.
