Poland actively supports Moldova in its effort to modernize itself and to meet the European standards. It considers Moldova a ‘success story’ within the Eastern Partnership. The Polish authorities also provide financial support within the Development Assistance Program. For this year, Poland approved 24 projects to the value of almost €1.1 million.

Moldova established diplomatic relations with Poland in 1992. Until now there were signed 35 agreements, while another 12 are being formulated or ready to be signed.
