Premier Energy requested the National Agency for Energy Regulation to decrease the electricity rate from 4,62 lei to 3.80 lei, while FEE Nord asked to diminish the rate from 4.65 to 4.16 lei, IPN reports.
According to Premier Energy, such a request was made because the regulated incomes from the supply of electricity need to be adjusted in connection with the signing of appropriate agreements to the contract for the purchase of electrical energy with SA Energocom, where the electricity purchase sources and prices for January 2023 are specified, including of the power bought from the Kuchurgan Power Plant, Nuclearelectrica and OPCOM. The given hypotheses concerning the purchase of electricity were also considered for the other months of 2023.
The National Agency for Energy Regulation meets today, starting at 1pm, to take a decision over the requests of the two suppliers.
