Prime Minister Iurie Leanca instructed the responsible authorities to devote increased attention to the quality of the works to design facilities whose construction is financed with budget money and money provided by foreign donors.
“The projects often do not meet the needs and the European standards on designing,” the official said in the July 10 meeting of the Government.
Minister of Regional Development and Construction Marcel Raducan said that not always the works carried out by foreign companies are of the highest quality. But the Moldovan institutions have yet a lot to learn and implement a number of quality standards. This is done, but probably not at the desired pace.
