The second part of the Kroll report will be ready this May and will mainly represent a strategy for recovering the money stolen from the banking system, Prime Minister Pavel Filip stated in the program “Moldova live” on the public TV channel Moldova 1, IPN reports.
“We are expecting the Kroll report to be presented in May. This report is important as it contains a strategy for recovering assets,” said the Premier.
Pavel Filip also said that for the Moldovan authorities it is important that no such thefts occur again and that the money is restored.
According to the head of Government, about 3 billion lei of the embezzled US$1 billion has been recovered so far.
