The deadline for the dissemination of preliminary results from the Population and Housing Census is January 31, according to the Dissemination Calendar. The National Bureau of Statistics had planned to present these data earlier, by the end of last year, but more time is needed to match the Post-Census Survey data with the census data, the institution announced in a press release, quoted by IPN.
The preliminary census results will include data on the size and structure of the population by gender, major age groups, places of residence, and country of birth, as well as population distribution by development regions and ethnocultural characteristics, and difficulties in daily activities.
Between April 8 and July 7, 2024, 2.4 million people were censused. During this period, over 1.6 million households were also surveyed, including occupied, secondary, and vacant ones.
