Pregnant woman in hospital after street attack

A pregnant woman from Chisinau is now recovering in hospital after she was assaulted by two nameless attackers on Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Dr. Anatol Proca of the Chisinau Emergency Service, the 37-year-old woman suffered multiple traumas of the abdoment, internal bleeding and head concussion. Happily, both the mother and the fetus are in no danger. The case is being handled by the police. The same day, an ambulance crew was called to Capriana village, Straseni district, by a 17-year-old man who alleged he had been assaulted by two men. The teenager was diagnosed with head concussion. Another man, 37, was aggressed by unknown assaulters in the central part of Chisinau's suburban village of Condrita. The man has some ribs broken and a head concussion.
