The amount of rain that fell in the evening of June 28 and last night exceeded the monthly average in a number of districts of the country. There were reported no emergencies. The three crises cells set up in Balti, Edinet and Ungheni continue to monitor the situation.
The head of the Weather Forecasts Center Gennady Rosca has told IPN that the weather stations in Ocnita, Camenca and Falesti recorded precipitation of 50 to 80 liters per square meter. An unexpectedly large amount of 80 liters per square meter was reported in Stefan Voda, where lighter rain was forecast.
At the weather stations in Falesti and Camenca, there was rain with hail of 6-7 mm. The yellow code advisory for unstable weather continues to be in force. There will be showers with thunder and lightning and with hail and winds of 15-20 m/s today, June 29.
The temperatures during the next few days will rise to +33 degrees Celsius. A yellow code warning for hot weather is to be issued. Light rain with thunder and lighting is forecast for July 2. After July 4, the temperatures will decrease and will vary between +25 and +30 degrees Celsius. In two days, they will increase again.
