The Political Party “Our Party” (PPPN) on January 16 filed the list of candidates for MP and other documents required for registration as an electoral contender in the national constituency to the Central Election Commission (CEC), IPN reports.
In a press release, the party’s says the list consists of 51 candidates. Among these are representatives of the party’s administration, such as Nicolae Țipovici, Elena Gritsko, Elena Panuș, Ilian Cașu and Dumitru Chubashenko, and also the mayor of Drochia Nina Cereteu, mayor of Basarabeasca Valentin Cimpoeș and mayor of Cantemir Roman Chubachuk. The list also includes councilors, teachers, engineers, jurists and economists.
The full list wasn’t made public.
Six parties have been registered so far as contenders in the national constituency. These are: the Democratic Party, the electoral bloc ACUM, the Party of Communists, the Party of Socialists, the Shor Party and the People’s Movement “Antimafie”.
