The initiative group for collecting signatures in favor of the candidate for President fielded by the Political Party “Our Party” (PPPN) Dumitru Chubashenko submitted the subscription lists with signatures to the Central Election Commission, IPN reports.
According to the aspirant for the office of President, the 100 members of the initiative group collected 25,000 signatures. “We presented almost 900 subscription lists with signatures collected in 32 administrative units of the second level, including the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti, the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia and 29 districts,” he stated.
Dumitru Chubashenko noted that his key goal is to remove the current government. As to geopolitics, he said he is for good relations with all the states and considers that the geopolitical approaches in the presidential elections are a false tactic used to distract attention from more important things. “The future President must not divide, but unite society,” he stated.
To collect signatures, the PPPN spent 460,000 lei.
