The Political Party “Our Party” (PPPM) has modified the date of its political congress. On a social networking site, the party announced that the congress was rescheduled for March 18 because the halls that the party wanted to rent started to be repaired, IPN reports.

PPPN leader Renato Usatyi said the party’s local organization in Balti held a conference and chose the representatives who will take part in the congress. “Such preparatory events take place all over the country these days. They everywhere bring together a lot of people and everywhere we provide party tickets,” stated the party’s leader.

Ex-candidate for President on behalf of the PPPN Dmitri Chubashenko said the Ministry of Culture refused to authorize the party to hold the congress at the National Palace or the Opera House. “They simply didn’t explain their refusal. Those from the National Palace said prophylactic works are performed there on nonworking days,” he stated.

Initially, the congress was scheduled for February 26.
