The leader of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Andrei Năstase said the party will not delegate representatives to the governmental team of Natalia Gavrilița as there is a risk that this Cabinet will be voted in by the MPs of the Party of Socialists and the Shor Party. Moreover, the legislature that will be formed as a result of snap parliamentary elections that would be organized by the outgoing Government led by Aureliu Ciocoi could be less credible than the current one, IPN reports.

“We plead for snap parliamentary elections, but these should be held in a different way than in the condition of an outgoing Government eminently controlled by Dodon so that we do not have big surprises after the elections. After elections held during a crisis, a pandemic, with a Government controlled politically from behind, we could have even more malevolent MPs than the current MPs of the Shor Party,” Andrei Năstase stated in the talk show “Emphasis on today” on TVR Moldova channel.

Andrei Năstase ruled out the possibility that the PPPDA will delegate representatives to the Government led by Natalia Gavrilița and made it clear that their parliamentary group will attend the sitting where the candidate designated as Prime Minister will present the government program. If their colleagues from the PAS do not vote for such a Government, they will not make a show.

“Should we form part of a Government that would be eventually voted by Dodon and Shor? We do not have the agenda of the PAS. Should we not come to the sitting only because the PAS wants so?” asked Andrei Năstase.

The politician also said that he does not intend to leave the party’s administration and will apply again to the post of leader of the party in the February 28 Congress of the PPPDA.
