The MPs of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” and the parliamentary group Pro Moldova in a new round of political consultations discussed the removal of the Government led by Ion Chicu and the formation of a new Cabinet by the formula proposed by the PPPDA, the party noted in a press release that is quoted by IPN.

The consultations were announced in a press briefing and were held later and involved representatives of three parliamentary groups, including of the Party of Action and Solidarity. “The formation of a European, anti-crisis government able to cope with serious challenges and systemic crises in the Republic of Moldova was the core subject of the consultations initiated by the DA Platform,” runs the press release.

“The consultations also centered on the return of the current Government led by Ion Chicu to the defective practice of assuming political responsibility for such usual matters as the amendment of the public budget. Such a practice runs counter to the preeminent role of the legislative power in a parliamentary regime.”

In a press release, Pro Moldova noted the MPs presented their views on pressing problems faced in the economy and proposed urgent measures in support of the business community, farmers and the persons who lost their jobs. Among the discussed subjects were the crisis in the healthcare sector and the situation of health professionals who have to work in an exceptional regime and are not supported by the Government and the parliamentary agenda in the context of the problems experienced by the people during the pandemic.
