The Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPDA) calls on the competent international institutions to take measures to investigate Vlad Plahotniuc. In a statement quoted by IPN, the party says the request was made given the degradation witnessed in Moldova, which makes no major progress in the sociopolitical, economic and European integration areas.
According to the statement, for fear of answering before the law for the social genocide and the robbing of the country, oligarch Plahotniuc-Ulinici (who is a citizen of at least three countries) used the justice sector captured by him, corruption, blackmailing and intimidation to eliminate the former political partners and installed one-person dictatorship in the Republic of Moldova. The same methods were used to secure a parliamentary majority that consists of turncoats (now members of the PDM), Socialists and members of the group led by Iurie Leanca. “Vlad Plahotniuc, who during the last ten years was permanently present in the government (officially or unofficially), since January 2016 has concentrated almost all the financial, administrative and media resources in his hands. The people robbed by him were forced to keep silent (freedom of the media has very low levels, civil society is close to be strangled by an anti-democratic law,” reads the statement.
The PPDA says that regardless of the recommendations of the Venice Commission or the consequences of the ignoring of the recommendations, the adoption by the PDM and PSRM of the bill to introduce the mixed-member electoral system in the second reading on July 20 shows that nothing interests this mafiot, except for the own pocket. Therefore, the competent international organizations are requested to investigate the involvement of Vlad Plahotniuc in the robbing of the Moldovan banks, the laundering of about US$30 billion by the Russia mafia through the agency of the justice and financial-banking sectors of Moldova, financing of terrorism and international trafficking in anabolic steroids.
The party calls on the whole society to take part in a people’s protest in front of the Parliament Building on July 30. The sympathizers of the protest movement are expected to come together near the Monument to Ruler Stephan the Great in Chisinau at 11:30am.
