PPCD leader appointed as deputy prime-minister

The leader of the People's Christian-Democratic Party (PPCD), Iurie Rosca, has been appointed as deputy prime minister, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the President's official web page. The presidential decree was inked on June 16 by the acting president, Vladimir Voronin. It is still not clear what responsibilities the new deputy premier will have. The Greceanai II Government has had three deputy premiers: Victor Stepaniuc, responsible for social affairs, Igor Dodon, responsible for economic affairs and Andrei Stratan, responsible for European integration issues.
