Energocom estimates an 18% increase in electricity consumption on the right bank of the Nistru for Monday, January 13, compared to Sunday, IPN reports.
The figure is also higher than last Monday, by 2%.
Energocom said that it had reserved the necessary commercial capacity at the border with Romania in order to meet the domestic electricity demand with imports as well.
Thus, on January 13, Moldova’s electricity needs will be satisfied with power produced by the district heating plants of Chisinau and Balti, local renewable energy installations, as well as with imported electricity, based on bilateral contracts and from the stock exchange, the source noted.
