The Moldova Mail is issuing starting December 12 a series of new stamps called “La multi ani!”, the Romanian greeting for “Happy New Year!” A total of 640,000 copies will be issued in this series, IPN reports.
One stamp with the face value of 1.75 lei depicts a snowman near a sleigh full of gifts. A total of 400,000 of such stamps will be issued.
The second stamp in the series is valued at 5.75 lei and portrays the Romanian version of Santa Clause, Mos Craciun with a sleigh. It will be issued in 240,000 copies.
The stamps have a size of 27.50 : 23.00 millimeters.
