Pork grows more expensive at market

The pork without bones costs at least 80 lei per kilogram at the market. In summer this could be bought for 65 lei kg. Pig ribs are sold for 75 lei/kg, while beef for at least 70 lei/kg, as the previous weeks, IPN reports.

Tomatoes at the market can be bought for at least 25 lei/kg, as opposed to 15 lei two weeks ago. Pink and yellow tomatoes are sold for 35 lei a kilogram. Cucumbers cost 25 lei//kg and up, as earlier. A kilogram of bell peppers is sold for 15 lei, in contrast to 10-11 lei two weeks ago. Eggplants are sold for the old price of 15 lei/kg.

One kilogram of capsicums is sold for 25 lei and up. The potatoes and onions cost 6 lei/kg, as earlier. Cabbage is sold for 5 lei/kg, up 1 leu. A bunch of parsley, dill or green onion tops costs 2 and 3 lei. Mushrooms sell for 28 lei/kg and up.

Plums can be bought for 12 lei/kg, as two weeks ago. Grapes are sold for 10 lei/kg on average. A kilogram of apples costs 8 lei, while of pears 12 lei.

Ten eggs cost at least 15 lei, up 2 lei compared with the price two weeks ago.
