Each census taker will question the dwellers of 120 houses (apartments). The persons will fill out by three questionnaires: on person, on dwelling, and on common dwelling place. Those who stay temporarily in Moldova will complete a questionnaire on person staying temporarily. Natalia Rotaru said at most 40 minutes will be spent on filling out the questionnaires.

The people who will not want to receive the census takers at home for personal or distrust reasons or those who will not be visited by census takers can complete the questionnaires at the local mayor’s office, where there will be by a census taker. A number of 75 places will be opened in Chisinau for the purpose. Their addresses will coincide with those of the polling places set up for elections.

According to vice director general of the National Bureau of Statistics Inna Maslo, the questionnaires cannot be falsified as they contain special codes. The census takers will have by a permit to show who they are. The permits are signed by the local mayor. Most probably, the census results will be announced this December.
