The results of the surveys and barometers made pubic recently reveal that the Moldovan people started to forget the political crisis that hit the country in spring, after the dismemberment of the Alliance for European Integration and the adoption of the censure motion against the Government headed by Vlad Filat, said political analyst Nicolae Negru, quoted by IPN.

“The parties of the Pro-European Coalition have electoral potential for the elections of next year. It is important what the voters feel the coming year as the polls show that they started to forget the spring crisis,” Nicolae Negru said in the program “Moldova live” on the public TV channel Moldova 1.

Making reference to the Sociopolitical Barometer produced by IMAS, the analyst said 41% of the people approve of the work of Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, describing it as good and very good. “It is a good result. This means that Mister Leanca becomes more important in the Liberal Democratic Party. I fear a possible rivalry between him and the party’s leader Vlad Filat,” said Nicolae Negru.

Asked about his opinion about the results of the same barometer, which reveals that the coalition parties are slightly improving their ratings, Vlad Filat said it is premature to make forecasts about the results of the 2014 elections.

“I want to note that the Communists have no chance of returning to power, at least in the next elections. I know what result we should achieve in the elections and we work hard to obtain it. Moldova will continue its path to European integration. We have yet a lot to do. We plan our common actions and will do what we promised to the people,” said the politician.

According to the Sociopolitical Barometer commissioned by IPN News Agency to the Marketing and Polling Institute (IMAS), if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, the same four parties would enter Parliament as after the 2010 elections. The Communists would poll 34% of the vote, the Liberal-Democrats – 14%, the Democrats - 9%, while the Liberals – 6%.
