The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) Vlad Filat on his Facebook page announced that he is marrying journalist Angela Gonta. “I want today to share happy news with you: together with Angela Gonta, we decided to announce our marriage to the general public,” Vlad Filat wrote on his webpage.
The politician says that he is happy and that in this important decision he is supported by his children, family and friends. “I realize what interest this event will arouse, but we ask you to respect the privacy of this very important step in our lives. In order to correctly inform the people about this important moment, both to us and to those close to us, we will ourselves provide the media with pictures and information about this event as quickly as possible,” wrote the leader of the PLDM.
Journalist Angela Gonta announced that she will no longer present the news program on PRO TV channel so as to avoid conflicts of interests.
Vlad Filat divorced Sanda Filat last summer. The politician has two children by his first marriage.
