Political structure of Chisinau Council undergoes modifications, Rectification

{In par. 3, "Nicolae Rurac" replaces "Mihai Adauge"} Two Communist councilors joined the Liberal-Democratic faction in the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC), while another two councilors were accepted into the Liberal faction, Info-Prim Neo reports. Igor Burda and Ghenadie Onceanu announced they decided to leave the Communist faction and join the Liberal-Democratic one as they want to contribute to stronger democratic forces and more efficient work in the Council. The members of the faction of the Christian Democratic People's Party Ion Gabura and Nicolae Rurac, who joined the Liberal faction, said they also want to strengthen the democratic forces. “The stability in the CMC is in danger. Therefore, we express our readiness to support all the reforms and projects proposed by Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca and the Liberal Party for multilaterally developing the capital city,” Ion Gabura said. Now the Liberal-Democratic faction in the CMC includes 8 members, the Liberal faction – 14, while the Communist faction - 12. The faction of the Christian Democratic People's Party disbanded.
