The political power is a ‘pig bowl’ that the leaders of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) are trying to divide up between them, while the key state posts represent a cudgel with which they defend themselves from those who want to ‘eat’ from this bowl, the deputy head of the Antimafia Movement Daniela Bodrug said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. In a news conference, Daniela Bodrug said that there are two things on the political arena that are in the ‘process of delivery’ – the appointment of the heads of the National Anticorruption Center and of the Security and Information Service, and the constitution of the parliamentary faction of the Socialists. According to Daniela Bodrug, these two things generated a conflict situation between the leader of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu and First Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc, of the Democratic Party. Daniela Bodrug said that Vlad Plahotniuc delivers messages through Marian Lupu, who is his ‘mascot’, but the real conflict is between Mihai Ghimpu and Vlad Plahotniuc. The Antimafia Movement considers that this conflict derives from the coalition formed by Ghimpu and Plahotniuc in 2010, which more and more resembles the coalition between Rosca and Voronin, said Daniela Bodrug. According to her, Ghimpu will become more powerless over time because he benevolently walked into the trap of the mafia and now cannot get out. “You, Mister Ghimpu, kept silent and endured when you weren’t given the cudgel that you could use against the wrongdoings, but you accepted to ‘eat’ from the pig bowl, and now that Dodon and Misin are called to use it too, you protest,” said Daniela Bodrug. She also said that now that Vlad Plahotniuc and Vlad Filat came to terms and formed an alliance above the coalition made by Ghimpu and Plahotniuc, Ghimpu started to complain. The appointment of the heads of the aforementioned institutions is in fact a political issue and the current misery in government cannot be polished, but only removed as the ruling mafia and the Communists have similar faces,” stated Daniela Bodrug.
