Political party suggests awarding teachers whose students achieve good results in arts, science and sport

The Transnistrian Patriotic Party proposes calculating the salaries of teachers according to the quality of their work. The proposal is contained in a bill aimed at improving the work conditions in schools and other education institutions formulated by the party, said Igor Ivanenko, the head of the party’s Executive Committee, Info-Prim Neo’s correspondent in Tiraspol reports. “Today, when there are more social orphans and the deviant behaviors are more frequent, the teachers remain the only persons involved in the education process,” Igor Ivanenko said. “We suggest fixing a money award for the class masters whose students will achieve good results in arts, science and sports.” The Patriotic Party also proposes creating a system of grants for implementing innovations in education and training the class masters who could manage several classes. The bill will be submitted to the Transnistrian education ministry for examination.
