The Ministry of Justice registered the political party “Platform Dignity and Truth”. The party was created as a result of the modification of the statute and name of the political party “People’s Force”, IPN reports.
The Ministry identified some deviations from the norms following the request to register the modifications to the statute and the administrative bodies of the “People’s Force” made on December 23, 2015. “These deviations were described in letter No. 05/595 of 22.01.2016, which was sent to the party “People’s Force”. As a result of that letter, on February 2, 2016 representatives of this party submitted for registration the set of documents from which the identified shortcomings were removed,” said the Ministry.
Thus, based on the submitted documents, there were registered the modifications to the statute and the administrative bodies of the “People’s Force”, which was renamed the political party “Platform Dignity and Truth”, with Andrei Nastase as its chairman.
Earlier, representatives of the new party said that the Ministry of Justice intentionally delays the registration of the changes and erects obstacles in this process.
There are now 43 political parties registered at the Ministry of Justice.
