Policemen accumulated millions of lei from fines applied to entrepreneurs

Fines of 5 million lei, confiscated goods of over 12 million lei represent the balance of the activity of the order forces in 6 months of this year in the sphere of commerce, public alimentation and public services. During the first semester, the policemen registered 26 thousand violations, on the basis of which was canceled the activity of 124 commercial points, of 142 tenebrous networks of selling goods, goods were confiscated, raw material and equipment worth 400 thousand lei. In the same period the police submitted 147 requests of license redrawing and 48 prescriptions of economic agents that offer services in the field of roads protection. According to the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the imperfect legal framework and the lack of efficient collaboration between the services distributed in the territory and the local public administration favors the authorization of street trade.
