A policeman from Ungheni died on Thursday after the car he was driving skidded off the road and ended up in a forest strip. The accident occurred on the Alexeevca-Pârlița road, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said the exact causes of the road accident are being established. It is to be determined whether it was a technical fault in the transport unit or the policeman from Ungheni had health problems.
The 21-year-old man was an employee of the Ungheni Police Inspectorate and worked as a senior non-commissioned officer in Police Station No. 4.
