A male police officer, 26, died in a road accident on Aleco Russo Street in Chisinau Friday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Coordinating doctor on duty at the Emergency Service Silvia Babara has told Info-Prim Neo that the policeman died after his BMW overturned in the middle of the street. Allegedly, the man was speeding.
Three persons were seriously injured in a traffic accident that happened on the intersection of Bucuresti and Sfatul Tarii streets. The victims were taken to hospital after the Opel car in which they were traveling crashed at speed into a Mercedes. The three persons suffered brain concussion and contusion of the soft tissues and were admitted to the Emergency Hospital.
Eight road accidents occurred in the municipality of Chisinau on December 19. Six pedestrians were injured in them.
