The police recommend not keeping money, documents and keys in the same place when taking part in public events on holiday or when being in crowded places, IPN reports.
To avoiding becoming victims of pickpockets, the people are warned to keep the bags or wallets under control and to attentively watch the persons around if they feel being touched.
On December 22-25, more police teams will patrol the public areas and will direct traffic. The motorists are urged not to drive if they drank alcoholic drinks, while the pedestrians are advised to be prudent and not to jaywalk.
